PROOF OF VACCINATION
Yesterday, the Ontario Government made an announcement regarding proof of vaccination requirements including the vaccination requirements for recreational sports.
The following are the facts that we have and what you need to know:
As of September 22, 2021
- ALL patrons (parents, spectators, etc.) eligible for vaccination (age 12 and up), MUST be fully vaccinated (2 doses + 14 days) in order to enter a recreation facility
- All players under the age of 18 are exempt, players 18+ must be fully vaccinated
- All coaches, volunteers, workers and officials are exempt
The above is based on the Proof of Vaccination Guidance issued by the province.
As of October 31, 2021
- ALL patrons (parents, spectators, etc.) eligible for vaccination (age 12 and up), MUST be fully vaccinated (2 doses + 14 days) in order to enter a recreation facility
- ALL coaches, volunteers, trainers, managers, referees, linespersons, timekeepers, instructors, executive, etc. must be fully vaccinated
- ALL players age 12 and up must be fully vaccinated
The above is based on the OMHA Vaccination Policy.
OMHA will be meeting to review their policy. If there are any changes to the policy, we will pass that information on to everyone.
